Arboretum Gardening

Wednesday was our first volunteer day in March.  The weather cooperated, and 17 volunteers worked for about 40 hours.  Volunteers planted in the horizontal rock garden, weeded, pruned and helped with spring cleanup throughout the gardens.  Parks Arborists were also working on removing hazard branches and limbing up the large trees in the arboretum.
