Solstice Luminary Walk

  • Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens 145 Alverson Boulevard Everett, WA, 98201 United States (map)

Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens will host a Solstice Luminary Walk on Thursday, December 21st, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with free luminary bags to carry, story time in the gazebo, plus our very own Peggy Kurz leading us in song. Peggy taught voice at Everett Community College and Trinity Lutheran College. She earned her master’s degree in voice from PLU and has played a variety of roles in musical theater.

Our new Luminary Sculpture by artist Cindy Morris is a special addition to our lights and hangs in the gazebo all month long. Photo Credit: Sylvia Blaauw, Creative Shutter Footprint. Special thanks to Skagit Valley Watershed Council for their experienced help and for sharing their expertise and materials with us.

Wintertide Lights is only possible through the generous support of the City of Everett, Snohomish County, Sunnyside Nursery and private donations, all contributing to the enthusiasm that fuels this remarkable event.
