Individual Donations

The Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens is a living museum, open to visitors every day of the year and there is never a fee. Since 1963, the Arboretum Foundation has strived to raise funds for upkeep, new designs and additional plants and trees. Funds have been raised by events such as the annual Plant Sale and Raffle but events alone are not adequate to fully support the Arboretum's needs. It takes community donations to fulfill our mission of growing and maintaining this special place.

Tribute Tree Gifts

Tribute Trees are a popular way to make a thoughtful gift to commemorate a person, special event or group while demonstrating your support of the arboretum. Some will be placed in open areas where past storms have damaged existing trees causing their removal. Others will simply be added to expand the diversity of species represented in the gardens. We strive for a mix of trees that provide interest for all season.

Trees are crucial to our environment, providing shade, cleaning our air, and adding refuge for suitable wildlife and birds. These trees will not be small starters but rather substantial specimens that will thrive and be cared for by the Arboretum Society as well as Everett Parks and Community Services. This is a unique opportunity for you to help the Arboretum and make a thoughtful gift that will be enjoyed in the gardens for generations to come.

When you choose your gift tree, we invite you to take part in the planting, take photos and celebrate if you like. As we update our website in 2019, we will include a page honoring your gift. Since tree selection depends on location and need, our list of available trees can be sent to you via email, and you will work with Society volunteers to make your final tree selection.

Your gift of $500 will allow the Arboretum to add your selected Tribute Tree to our collection. Questions? Want a current Tree List sent to you? Please email us at contactus@evergreenarboretum.com.
