Hardy fuchsias are vigorous, medium-sized deciduous shrubs noted for their handsome arching growth, long blooming period and hummingbird attracting flowers. Learn more about these exceptional plants from self-described “Fuchsia Nut”, Tammy Brown. Tammy is a member of the Northwest Fuchsia Society (NWFS), President of the Fuchsia Society of Bellevue and Olympia, and the manager of the upright and hardy fuchsias at Earthworks Fuchsias in Covington. Fuchsia plant starts will be for sale after class along with a tour of the Arboretum gardens. Meet in horticultural classroom #105.
