Woodland Garden and Fernery
A truly contemplative Northwest shade garden invites visitors to walk on a wood and steel bridge built over a rock-filled dry stream bed among a range of ferns, hydrangea, azaleas and rhododendrons. Stop to admire the small stone patio nestled in tall evergreens. Look for both native and ornamental ferns, shrubs, trees and perennials to provide color and form in shaded settings. Stone blocks for the patio were recycled from a building project.
